AP Psychology Homework: Fields & Perspectives OK, let’s just pretend that you live on a TOTALLY insane planet (unlike the one you think you are on right now). On this planet, there is no need for medical doctors (everyone is healthy), no need for teachers (everyone is brilliant), no need for stockbrokers (everyone is rich), no need for……well, etc., etc., etc. The only occupation that is needed on this planet is that of "psychologist". Therefore, EVERYONE on this planet must go to graduate school and become a psychologist. If you lived on this planet (let’s call it the "Planet of Psi"): 1. With which "perspective" of psychology would you MOST likely be affiliated (for example: psychoanalytic, behavioral, humanistic, physiological, etc.) and WHY? 2. With which perspective would you LEAST likely be affiliated and why? 3. In which "field" of psychology would you MOST likely involve yourself (for example: clinical, counseling, school, research, sports, etc.) and WHY? 4. In which field would you LEAST likely involve yourself and why?
